Psychology Exhibition - Creativity...Innovation...Knowledge...Fun...

Applying psychology to our everyday lives, and making the best use of all possible psychological theories and principles is what Applied Psychology is all about. The Psychology students of Christ University had a gala time displaying their knowledge and creativity about the same by participating in the Annual Psychology Exhibition that was held on the 2nd of September, 2009. Both the UG and PG students took part in the event. Extremely creative and innovative, the 20 stalls that were put up competed classwise, and the marks earned by the classes has added points for the much awaited Psychology Fest- Silhoutte. The results of the exhibition is given below-

1st Position -III FEP (Gayatri and group- Consumer Psychology)
2nd Postion -III JPEng (Anjan and group- Advertising Psychology) & III JPEng (Madhura and group- Shopping Psychology)
3rd Position -II PSEco (Ankita and group- Psychology and Armed Forces)

Attention 5th Semester FEP, JPEng and PSEng

The End Semester Practical Exams scheduled on 22nd September '09 has been postponed to 29th September '09 due to UGC Members Visit.

The Batches and Timings remains the same.

All regular classes will be held as usual on 22nd September.

PsychSpo

5 sports, 16 classes and one big banner – PsychSpo... A 3rd year PSEco initiative, the Psychology Sports fest, as a part of Silhouette, aimed at giving all psychology students an equal competitive platform to discover their sporting abilities. With the co-operation of the teachers, participants and the relentless work of the core committee members, the sports festival has been a grand success where a lot of fervour and zeal has been seen on and off the fields.

Team work, enthusiasm, a competitive and fiery spirit... PsychSpo has seen it all. The event got off to a grand start with football on the 9th of July, 2009. With 5 events happening one after the other, namely football, throwball, bastketball, cricket and kho-kho, it has been an exhilarating month for the students. Victory and losses being taken in the true sportsman spirit, lunch hours have been moments of great anxiety and excitement. the winners for the various events are stated below :

Basketball : 1st PSEco
Throwball : 3rd PSEco
Cricket : 2nd FEP
Kho – Kho : 3rd FEP
Football : 3 Jpeng

Psychology Exhibition

The details and rules for participation in the Annual Psychology Exhibition (2nd September, 2009) are listed below-

• The theme is 'Applied Psychology'

• Atleast one team from each class should participate, with 5 members in the team.

• Maximum number of teams per class- 2.
  

• It is a part of Silhoutte 2009.

• All participants and volunteers will be given attendance for the whole day (2nd Sept)

• Refreshments will be provided to all participants and volunteers.
